Nervous System & the Breath

MODULE 2: SENSING OUR BODIES ~ Feb 15 & March 1
Interoception & Neuroception
- Developing interoception: reconnecting with your body’s internal signals & 6th sense
- Understanding neuroception: how your nervous system detects safety vs. danger

FAQ Section
This training is designed to be trauma-informed and we work with titration (small amounts of activation) and pendulation (moving between activation and resource). However, if you’re in acute crisis, you should be in individual therapy first. If you’re concerned about your specific situation, book a clarity call to discuss.
I can’t promise cures. What I can say is that somatic nervous system work addresses the root of many symptoms that cognitive approaches can’t touch. Many people experience significant reduction in pain, anxiety, and trauma symptoms through this work. But healing isn’t linear and everyone’s journey is different.
No. While we explore spirituality as a resource and work with ancestral/ancient wisdom traditions (Celtic, Indigenous, Buddhist concepts), you don’t need to follow any specific religion or spiritual path. The work is grounded in nervous system science and somatic practice.
If your previous work was primarily cognitive or talk-based, this will be completely different. If you’ve done some somatic work, this will deepen it and add dimensions (ancestral, spiritual, rhythm) that are rarely included. The year-long format also allows for depth that shorter trainings can’t provide.
